Former England international Owen Hargreaves has praised Ghana forward Antoine Semenyos versatility, noting that he enjoys watching the forward play.
Semenyo, 26, is in the news again after his latest goal for Manchester City on Saturday handed the team a narrow 1-0 victory in a crucial game in the English Premier League to keep the pressure on Arsenal in the title race.
Analysing the close contest that ensued between Leeds United and Manchester City, Hargreaves singled out Antoine Semenyo to praise him, arguing that the Black Stars attacker deserves his place in Pep Guardiolas team.
He deserves the opportunity of playing with the best team, or one of the best teams, with the best players. Hes a fabulous player, he can play on the left, he can play through the middle, on the right, he played as a split-striker today.
I love watching him play, hes so versatile, hes athletic, hes a good finisher. Where you want to be as a footballer is at the top, and hes come all the way through the ranks, its quite an amazing story, Owen Hargreaves said after the game.
Following his latest goal against Manchester City, Senenyo now has 14 goals and four assists after making 27 appearances in the English Premier League this season.
